App versus browser: what's the difference
Our dolan app and mobile browser both connect to the same account and balance, but they differ in speed and convenience. If your device is older, you can still access dolan through any mobile web browser—Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Opera all work. Troubleshooting installation
The most common installation issue on Android is the "Unknown sources" permission. Android blocks APK files from sources outside the Play Store by default. To fix this, go to Settings → Apps & Notifications → Advanced → Special app access → Install unknown apps, find your browser, and toggle the permission on. Then retry the download. On iOS, if the web app doesn't save to your home screen, open dolan.bet in Safari, tap the Share button, scroll down, and select "Add to Home Screen." This creates an app-like icon that launches dolan directly. If you see a certificate warning on either platform, it's safe to proceed—our SSL certificate is valid and trusted. If the app crashes on launch, try clearing your device's cache (Settings → Apps → dolan → Storage → Clear Cache) and reinstalling.
Data, permissions, and account security
The dolan app requests only the permissions it needs: internet access to connect to our servers, and on Android, permission to read your device's unique identifier for fraud prevention. We don't request access to your contacts, photos, or location. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Your password is never stored on your device—only a secure session token. When you log out, that token is deleted. We use the same KYC (know-your-customer) verification process on the app as on the web: you upload a photo ID and proof of address, and our verification team reviews them within a standard timeframe. Once verified, you can deposit and withdraw. If you lose your phone, log into dolan.bet from another device and change your password immediately—this invalidates all sessions on your old phone.
